The Background:
AT&T, Deutsche Telekom, and Verizon are three of the world's
leading telecommunications carriers. They were participants in the
Optical Internetworking Forum Interoperability Demonstration.
The Challenge:
To stream videos with a broad range of quality levels over optical
networks connecting the carriers across continents as well as at
the OIF’s SuperComm 2004 demo at McCormick Place in Chicago,
Illinois, during this unique event.
