InfoValue has contributed to land, air and sea defense since 1998.
InfoValue technology has enabled the revolutionizing of military training
and simulation applications as well as security
systems. In addition to supporting armed defense, InfoValue solutions
for local and national governments include remote learning systems
for school districts and video systems for legislative bodies.
Military Training and Simulation
The challenge for instructors and trainees in military training is
to immediately identify mistakes that occur in training scenarios
and take corrective action. This approach significantly enhances the
benefits of training time.
InfoValue SimulcastTV™
for After Action Review more than meets that challenge. It provides
any organization that conducts “large venue” simulation
with the ability to view training activities from multiple areas and
with various camera views. InfoValue SimulcastTV™ is the state-of-the-art
digital video solution for omnipresent capture and reproduction of
large venue events from as many angles as desired. With precise synchronization
of the high-definition, high-quality video from all cameras, the viewing
of events in live or review modes is split-second accurate with no
details missed. The high-quality digital video files are available
for immediate playback with precise timing synchronization and interactive
control. Urban Combat Training
The United States Army Rangers have used InfoValue SimulcastTV™
during their urban combat training exercises since its introduction
in 1999. To simulate the urban environment, McKenna Range, in Fort
Benning, Georgia, was built, complete with its own buildings, an airfield,
and a sewer tunnel network. Instructors at the range use SimulcastTV
to monitor and record the activities from over 70 video cameras installed
throughout the facility. After a training exercise is completed, instructors
conduct after-action-reviews with the trainees. The instructors and
trainees can immediately review any set of events that occurred during
an exercise, and they can instantly cue and then re-cue all the video
files simultaneously. When a mistake is made, the lesson is learned.

Flight Simulation
The United States Air Force uses InfoValue SimulcastTV™ to record
the content of the critical instrumentation and cameras in the cockpits
and then reproduce with split-second accuracy the simulated flying
of multiple ships for after action review. Originally implemented
for F-16 pilot training and now incorporated in F-15 flight simulators,
the Digital Video Audio System captures, transmits, records, and plays
back a large number of DVD quality digital videos with the highest
precision in timing synchronization. Read more about the use in flight
simulators in InfoValue Experts In Action – Lockheed

Video Contract for F-16 Training Program.
